Title: Owner, Audiologist, Speech Language Pathologist

About:
Office elected "World's Best Boss", Alli is both the owner and an Audiologist/SLP at Hampshire Hearing and Speech. With the limited free time she has, Alli prefers to be outdoors with family and freinds regardless of what season it is. In the summer you can find her on the boat wakesurfing or relaxing after a long 18 holes off golf at the course. Alli is also an avid runner and enjoys doing so with her friends. While the tough New England winter slows some people down it does not  stop her from being outdoors as she prefers to be on the mountain snowboarding or skiing. 

Work experience :
14 years as Director of Speech and Language Services at the Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech in Northampton.
 
12 years of experience at the Holyoke Medical Center Speech and Hearing Clinic providing audiological testing, ABR testing, hearing aid fitting, along with

speech language, swallowing, aphasia evaluations and therapy.

Started her career working for 3 years for the State of Okalahoma  Health and Guidance Clinics providing Early Intervention services and audiological testing for three counties. 
 
Adjunct Instructor at Smith College, (12 years) as part of the Northampton-Clarke School Graduate Teacher Education Program.
 
Undergraduate and graduate degrees - University of Oklahoma.



Credentials:
Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as an audiologist and speech language pathologist through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.

Amy Catanzaro, Au.D.

Title: Doctor of Audiology

About:
Have you ever met an Audiologist who raises their own chickens and pigs? Well now you have! When not busy helping her patients, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her family vacationing at Block Island and at the lake in New York. In the summertime Amy prefers to be outdoors either hiking the hills of New England or biking throughout the counties. When the snow comes you might just see her out showshoeing if not inside baking and quilting. While doing all of these things she still somehow manages to fit in watching her favorite football team; the Buffalo Bills. 

Work experience :
Dr. Catanzaro has worked as an audiologist in the Pioneer Valley for the past 26 years. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1995, with her MA in Audiology and completed her Doctor of Audiology from A. T. Still University in Arizona, School of Health Sciences, in March 2012. Dr.Catanzaro's experience with a diverse population of all ages brought a new skill set of services to the practice.

Dr. Catanzaro is board certified with specialty certification in pediatric audiology and has spent many years with the adult and pediatric population providing services including: diagnostic audiological evaluation, aural habilitation, hearing aid fitting, and cochlear implant mapping.

Joni Skinner, Au.D.

Title: Doctor of Audiology

About:
Audiologist, Coach, Golfer, Mother and Photographer are just a few of the titles you could use to adress Joni. When not at work helping her patients, Joni loves to spend quality time with her husband and son doing a wide range of activities. In the summer months, Joni likes to be at the lake in Maine with her family, their happy place. While not working or vacationing, Joni enjoys working at her farm share in the summer or attending and photographing her son's games. In her "me" time she likes to do backyard yoga and hike with her dog. When the cold rolls in you could catch her on the slopes sledding with her son or indoors cooking or baking. Make sure to keep a close eye on the jumbotron at Umass Hockey games as Joni has season tickets and loves to watch them play!

Work experience :
Upon completing her Masters degree in Audiology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2003, Dr. Skinner made Western Massachusetts her home.  After several years in a busy ENT clinic serving a primarily adult population, she worked at Mercy Medical Center honing her pediatric audiology skills.  In 2007, Dr. Skinner earned her Doctoral degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now known as Salus University) and started practicing in Northampton.  She spent 10 years at Clarke Hearing Center providing diagnostic and treatment for clients of all ages in the outpatient clinic as well as providing educational audiology service to students with hearing loss.  Dr. Skinner takes an experienced and individualized approach to selection and fitting of a variety of hearing instruments.  Additionally, Dr. Skinner has provided aural rehabilitation for adults and their partners, enjoys serving as a preceptor to graduate students and presenting to graduate classes as well as other professionals.

Jill Bisi 

Title: Patient Care Coordinator

About:
When you call or enter into our office space you have the pleasure of being greeted by Jill. Her freindly, outgoing personality and sense of humor perfectly suit her for the role of Patient Care Coordinator. When not working, Jill likes to spend time with her daughters as well as catching her grandson's baseball and hockey games. During the summer months she enjoys gardening and being outside; whereas in the winter, she prefers to be by the fire or making cookies and lemoncello for her friends while watching Judge Judy. 

Livia Scrivener

Title: Bookkeeper/ Finnancial/ Insurance/ Account

About:
Little did Hampshire Hearing and Speech know they were bringing on a "Jack of All Trades" in 2020. Livia joined Hampshire Hearing and Speech in June of 2020 for Bookkeeping. Then in December of 2021, she added to her role becoming the Medical Billing Specialist. When not working, Livia enjoys spending quality time with her family, including six children. Outside of her motherly duties she enjoys spending time on the golf course and exploring New England to find the best eateries and wineries the region has to offer. In the winter months you can find her vacationing in Florida for the warm weather and golf.  

Lisa Howard

Title: Hearing Aid Technician

About:
If you are coming in to get your hearing aids fixed or cleaned, there is a good chance they are in great care with Lisa. Lisa is a Hampshire Hearing and Speech veteran and loves to interact with people. While home, she enjoys reading more than most. Seriously, she has more than 5000 books on her iPad. Lisa loves to either be cooking or baking and is a self acclaimed foodie; she loves to go out to eat at new restraunts with her husband. Lisa's grand babies are her life and has no problem showing them off to you! In the summer, you can find her in the pool with her family soaking in the rays on a floatie. In the winter you can find her indoors working on numerous types of crafts. If you see any of our lovley felted wool decorations it is likely the work of the fabulous, Lisa Howard.
